Romantic Picnic Date at sunset  

Hannah and Zach deserved an engagement session as sweet and tender hearted as they are. SO that’s exactly what we strived for, but not everything went to plan at first. Unfortunately we ran into a few hiccups regarding a few of our preferred spots to photograph but we didn’t let it discourage us. Hannah and Zach were troopers and so go-with-the-flow, that the unexpected location change didn’t even phase them. We arrived at our location at their family friend’s private pond in Fort Wayne, IN and began to walk around with our hands filled with their picnic supplies. Underneath a tree with the light streaming through the branches seemed like the perfect place to set up their intimate picnic date. We laughed, laid in the sun rays, drank wine that their wedding venue gifted them, and most of all documented their joy, excitement for their upcoming forever adventures  to begin..

Romantic Canoe ride on a private pond

These two creative beings went out of their way to rent a canoe to have their dreamy canoe engagement session! I was instantly inspired and really wanted to emulate the romantic aspects of it. And boy did Hannah and Zach deliver. They worked together to drag the canoe into the intimate pond and began rowing into the dreamy, sky reflected waters. I loved getting to know these two and to document them in such an artful way that is them to a T.
